DESCRIPTION
Discover with us the work of a genius! In the center of the island, César transforms a simple quarry into a tribute to agricultural work: "Monument to the Peasant". After this visit, the road takes us through the old capital, Teguise, to the Valleys. Our next stop surprises us with a beautiful view of the "Valley of 1000 Palms", the Corona volcano and the coast, watching its towns. We cross Haría town and visit "El Mirador del Río" viewpoint, transformed by the artist to let us enjoy the views of the Chinijo Archipelago. We descend through the "Corona volcano" and visit one of the most impressive caves on the island ("Jameos del Agua" or "Cueva de los Verdes") The volcanic nature, always alive in Manrique's work, is discovered with a visit to the beautiful last work of this genius: "Jardín de Cactus". Finally, we visit "César Manrique Foundation", his home and source of inspiration. This house is perfectly integrated into the surrounding lava.
