DESCRIPTION
Leaving from your hotel or nearby, we will stop in Yaiza around 10a.m. to organise our group. From Yaiza, we will start this wonderful route towards Timanfaya National Park. In "Islote de Hilario", we will discover the heat of these mountains of fire: 13 meters deep, there is 610ºC. The impressive geothermal experiments will be silent witnesses which show that what you are reading is true. From here, we will undertake the fascinating Route of the Volcanoes, where we will listen to the full account of the eruptions of Timanfaya, running between craters, ravines of fire and an immense sea of lava of an almost unreal color. At the end of the route we will stop next to the Echadero de Camellos, so whoever wants to, can enjoy a camel ride (11€ extra). After that, we will have enough time for lunch in Yaiza. We continue to the Lava Coast. Here is where we find The Green Lagoon, Los Hervideros and Las Salinas. Finally, in the center of the island, is where a landscape created by human hands begins: La Geria, a wine-growing area, famous for its particular crops.
