MEETING POINT FOR CRUISES

There are two ports in Lanzarote, we pick you up at the Police control post of the port where your boat docks. Next to the Police Control, you will see one of our tourist guides with the LanzaroteGuides poster.

DESCRIPTION

Leaving from the cruise port towards the center of the island. we arrive at the Monument to the Lanzarote Peasant (`Conejero´, as it is called here) Here, in the center of the island, is where a landscape created by human hands begins: La Geria, a wine-growing area, famous for its particular crops. We will stop to taste the wine. From there, we continue to the Lava Coast. Here is where we find Las Salinas and The Green Lagoon, inside a crater.

We continue to where the Timanfaya National Park is located. As we move towards the Fire Mountains, the landscape is transformed into a lunar landscape, as if it belonged to another planet. We are in a landscape born from fire, the Timanfaya National Park. In the “Islote de Hilario”, we will discover surprising data such as that at 13 meters depth there is 610ºC. The impressive geothermal experiments will be silent witnesses which show that what you are reading is true.

From here, we will undertake the fascinating Route of the Volcanoes, where we will listen to the full account of the eruptions of Timanfaya, running between craters, ravines of fire and an immense sea of lava of an almost unreal color. At the end of the route we will stop next to the Echadero de Camellos, so whoever wants to, can enjoy a camel ride (11€ extra).
