DESCRIPTION
After a short stop in Yaiza, we head to the Timanfaya National Park, on the Volcanoes Route. It is here that we will see the geothermal experiments to see for ourselves the heat of the volcanoes. We will have the opportunity to enjoy a camel ride. The lava coast is our next objective: Laguna Verde in a small village called El Golfo, and Los Hervideros, lava carved by the sea. On the way to the next stop, we will see the largest salt pans in the Canary Islands. We then head north, passing the Monumento al Campesino (Monument to the Peasant), the work of César Manrique, a tribute to the efforts of the local peasants. Also on our way, we will see the sandy beaches of the whole island, known as El Jable, the old capital: Teguise and the fertile farms in the interior of the valleys. Our next stop will allow us to enjoy the views of the valley of the 10,000 palm trees and the village of Haría. Behind the myth of the palm trees lies a beautiful tradition. Finally, we will visit Jameos del Agua, a natural cave with a lake that César Manrique knew how to understand in an exquisite way.
