DESCRIPTION
We leave the port to visit the beautiful and historic chapel "Nuestra Señora de Las Nieves" above the island's capital, Santa Cruz de La Palma. We continue to "La Concepción" viewpoint, which offers us a wonderful view over the city, the port and the east coast of La Palma. We continue to La Breña mountain recreation area, located in a volcanic crater, 565 meters above the sea level. It is the only significant survey of this landscape of mediocrities that share both cultivated areas and residential areas.
And our last, but not least, stop: Los Cancajos.- Two artificial reefs and their own configuration of the coast in this place, a few kilometers away from the capital, form an oasis of calm waters that protects this large black sand beach. (almost 700 meters with an average width of 30) that has all urban character services (parking, showers, toilets, rental of umbrellas and hammocks, cleaning service). Los Cancajos is also one of the tourist residential areas of the island, and it offers additional services, such as catering, accommodation and easy public transport communication.
