The morning light is ideal for the landscapes of the north of the island. Normally, at 8:30 hrs you will drive towards the northernmost part of the island. You arrive at Los Valles, the "valley of a thousand palms", and Haría. Here the volcano «Corona» rises 5,000 years old. After a short time you will reach the Famara massif 500 m. height. From here you can admire the magnificent view over the islets of the archipelago Chinijo. A delightful viewpoint. This is the journey to Jameos de Agua, where the amazing subterranean oases are located. This natural cave has evolved through the penetration of the sea and a pool integrated into nature. The picture is framed by lush vegetation. We continue through the villages of Arrieta, Guatiza, etc.
We are going to the area "Geria", which is characterized by a really spectacular landscape. Vineyards, which are made from a soil covered
with volcanic ash. After a wine tasting, you will continue to the National Park Timanfaya, the fire mountains, an impressive landscape, born of fire. Being in Timanfaya, is like taking a walk on the
moon (51 km2 large lava sea).
And learn some geo-thermal experiments before you go on the "Lunar Route". Here, also, you have the opportunity to visit the park on the back of a dromedary. After that, we drive into the lava coast to visit the Green Lagoon, salt pans, etc. Finally, return to the port of Arrecife. (4:30 pm)
At all the ports, in the same dock (pier of the port) there is a
harbor police control cabin. In the photo are the two ports where the cruise ships dock in Arrecife Lanzarote and the Police control.
